About the Event
Join Ryan Zegarelli, AIA for a tour of the RIT Performing Arts Center. This facility is a state-of-the art venue serving both the RIT and Rochester communities. Located on the north side of campus between Institute Hall and the Golisano Institute for Sustainability, this 50,000-square-foot, four-story facility features 750 seats, two balconies, truck access, and a historic, restored theater pipe organ. With its versatile design, the theater is ideal for musical and theatrical performances, lectures, and special events, offering an exceptional experience for performers and audiences alike.
The building's architect is Michael Maltzan Architecture (MMA) with SWBR as architect of record.
Ryan Zegarelli, AIA, Senior Project Architect, SWBR, has seventeen years of architectural experience with a focus on higher education projects. He is a project team member for the RIT Performing Arts Center and multiple new construction projects at Rochester Institute of Technology.
