As a finale to our Centennial Celebration, AIA Rochester invites individuals or teams to use their creativity and have some fun once again to benefit the Rochester community. Â
Participants are challenged to recreate a Rochester edifice out of gingerbread! A limited amount of complimentary starter kits are available, or you can simply gather your own supplies and participate. Submit final photos of your edifice by November 27, and then carefully bring your edifice to the Holiday Party on December 5 to be auctioned. In the theme of 'shelter', proceeds will benefit a local homeless shelter.
To play:Â
- Register for the event
- Submit the edifice you want to build - first come first served, one gingerbr+EDIFICE per landmark
- Build your edifice - substrates are allowed & encouraged, but all exposed surfaces must be covered with a non-perishable edible item, refer to Guidelines
- Submit photos of the final project by November 27 - again refer to Guidelines
- Refer to the Official gingerbr+EDIFICE GuidelinesÂ
Good luck, and have fun!
