Changes to the NYS Uniform & Energy Codes - 2025
Join Laura Cooney, AIA for a summary of anticipated changes to the NYS Uniform & Energy Codes which will incorporate the 2021 and 2024 applicable I-Codes. This course is based on proposed changes by the NYS Code Council only. The final code changes, adoption, and effective dates are still to be determined but are anticipated to possibly be early fall of 2025.
1) Review anticipated code changes between the 2020 BCNYS and the upcoming NYS Building Code, plus a short summary of differences between the 2009 and 2017 ICC A117.1 Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities reference standard
